It is made of long asbestos fiber yarn and braided into round form extensively used as heat insulation materials on thermal installations and heat conduction systems operated at temperatures upto 250 c and the loss on ignition is 32% max.This type of rope finds its extensive application in sealing the doors of ovens or kiln in order to prevent heat loss.The sizes available range from 3mm-25mm.
