Thermal and Acoustic Insulation Solutions for HVAC and Construction Projects

Frequently asked questions

Does glass wool insulation also reduce duct noise, or only heat loss? Both — its fibrous structure absorbs airborne sound as effectively as it resists heat transfer, which is why it is specified for acoustic plant-room lining as well as thermal duct wrap.

What causes insulation to underperform after installation? Compression and gaps at joints are the most common causes — insulation that looks installed can still leak heat and sound through poorly sealed seams.
