Overview
The double-ribbed PVC curtain is the heavy-traffic version of the standard strip curtain, engineered for one problem: plain PVC strips do not survive constant forklift and trolley traffic. On a busy industrial doorway, flat strips get scratched opaque, then torn, and have to be replaced far too often. The ribbed strip solves that by changing where the wear happens.
Each strip carries trapezoidal ribs on both faces, spaced roughly 50 mm apart and offset by about 12 mm from one side to the other. When a forklift, pallet or trolley pushes through, it rides on the raised ribs rather than the flat body of the strip. The ribs take the impact, the scuffing and the abrasion, keeping the clear area between them intact. The same raised profile keeps the strips slightly apart, so they do not stick together and grease, dust and grime have less flat surface to build up on.
The practical result is a curtain that stays clearer and lasts substantially longer in exactly the doorways that chew through plain strips — loading bays, warehouse throughways, dispatch and internal high-traffic openings. It is supplied in a blue tint and, like the rest of the range, hangs on stainless-steel mounting hardware and is cut to your doorway.
If your doorway is pedestrian or light-traffic, the standard clear PVC strip curtain is more economical and gives better visibility. Choose the double-ribbed grade specifically where forklift and trolley traffic is high and plain strips keep failing.

How is this different from a standard PVC strip curtain?
It does the same environmental job — sealing a doorway to heat, dust and noise — but the strips carry raised ribs designed for heavy forklift and trolley traffic. The ribs take the impact and scuffing instead of the flat strip, so the curtain lasts much longer in busy doorways. For light or pedestrian traffic, the clear standard curtain is more economical.

Yes, where a freezer doorway also has heavy forklift traffic. For sub-zero use make sure it is specified in a low-temperature (polar) formulation so it stays flexible in the cold — tell us the temperature and we will confirm the grade.
