Acrylic PTFE Packing braids acrylic yarn impregnated with PTFE and lubricant, giving a clean, low-friction, economical seal with good chemical resistance. It is a versatile general-service packing for water and mild chemical duty.
It works to around 250°C across pH 3–12 at moderate shaft speeds, making it a cost-effective alternative to pure PTFE on non-critical pumps and valves.
