Made from high grade asbestos fiber used for make fire screens, Protecting walls, Lining furnaces and anything that required heat and fire protection. It can also be used as electrical insulation. The thickness available ranges from 3mm-12mm and the dimensions are 500mm*500mm.

Description

Asbestos Board (millboard) is a rigid, pressed sheet of asbestos fibre bonded with a clay/starch binder, used for high-temperature insulation, gasketing and fire protection around furnaces, ovens and hot equipment. It is dense, dimensionally stable, and cuts cleanly into panels and gaskets.

It withstands continuous service around 500°C without loss of strength, and can tolerate brief exposure to much higher temperatures (up to roughly 1500°C) when properly supported. Where asbestos is not permitted, non-asbestos calcium-silicate board offers similar rigid, high-temperature protection.
