Jute Packing is a soft braided packing made from natural jute fibre, usually grease-impregnated, for low-pressure water and general service. It is one of the most economical sealing packings available.
It is rated to around 100°C for water and low-pressure duty, suiting sluice valves, water pumps and utility equipment where cost is the priority.
